Core Performance Grading System

What the CPTX Test Measures

CPTX is a diagnostic test that evaluates how well a golfer can activate stabilize and control the core during the golf swing. The test measures the golfer’s ability to maintain posture balance and rotational control while producing separation between the upper body and lower body. This separation combined with stable core activation is known as the Core Activation X Factor.

X Factor Perfect Score Definition

X Factor is the golfer’s ability to create and maintain powerful rotational separation between the upper body and lower body while keeping the core fully activated and the spine stable. A perfect score means the golfer can hold this separation with control balance and repeatability at all swing speeds without losing posture or core engagement.

Scoring is based on how well the golfer achieves this Core Activation X Factor.
